When it comes to buying a static caravan, there are several things that you need to consider. Location is a massive part of the decision to make. After all, you need to make sure that your brand new holiday home is in a place that you enjoy visiting! A unit will need to be sited somewhere, so make sure you’ve done your research and are excited about the area you’re considering.
There are also several other things to consider, including costs. Setting a budget should be the first thing you do. There is no point in looking at caravans or lodges to discover it’s over your budget. Make sure you are realistic about what you can afford and only look at static caravans for sale that are within those realms.
Other costs to factor in include pitch fees, costs for utility bills, as well as holiday home insurance. There are plenty of helpful sites out there where you can find more advice, including NACO and the National Caravan Council (NCC).
